Being behind the chair I get to use my hands to create an accessory that my clients wear every day! But, most importantly, I love the conversations that lead into finding someones passion, and seeing them follow their dream. When I am not behind the chair I am playing mom to 4 kiddos and wife/business partner to Kenny. I enjoy cooking from scratch and all things homemaking! My interior design style and hair style described in one word would be timeless! Just like interiors, I love a good hair style that can be worn at any age, showcasing ones natural beauty.

Hi! I'm Sheila, being a small town gal that grew up on a farm in Traverse Valley, I truly just enjoy the simple things in life. My husband Tyler & I along with our little fur family: Koda (dog), Dash & Dexter (cats) love being home. We can usually be found in our backyard either digging in the garden or enjoying a beverage on the patio while Tyler grills some delicious food. However when adventure calls our souls must answer! We have a goal to see all of the National Parks in our lifetime, so far we have seen 8, a couple twice because we loved them so much!

Hi 👋, my name is Chelsea Faldet and I am so excited to be bringing some amazing services to (Whitehall, you can replace this with name of salon). Some of the services I am so excited about are Facials, Mens cuts and Extensions! A little bit about me is I am actually a 2010 graduate from Whitehall Memorial. Between then and now I have worked various jobs in healthcare but have finally found a career I love, Cosmetology! I am a proud mother of a sassy 8yo boy, Ryker. We love being outdoors from hunting to riding horse but also love spending time with our friends and family! I will be graduating from the Cosmetology program at CVTC mid December and cannot wait to start providing services to you all!
the Hygge Place was created
one year after the bluebird salon had closed. During the year of our building being shut down, I was flooded with emotions! Just when I thought I could sell, and almost signed the papers... I broke down crying, thinking about all the hopes and dreams I held for this little commercial building in the heart of downtown! I took and deep breathe and said "I have to try this, but lets do it differently" & just like that the Hygge Place started coming together!

Once again, a cup of coffee led to dreams filling the space! We wanted to create a space that stylists, estheticians, massage therapists, and other industry individuals, could come together, with their own individual touches, to create a place that allows their clients to relax and unwind.

We have a commitment to continue to grow as individuals and build each other! If someone has a passion and wants to share it with the world, the Hygge Place is just the spot for that!
